​​​​​​​Rundu Airport is situated 5km southwest of the town of Rundu, the capital of the Kavango Region, bordering southern Angola. The vast landscape affords the airport excellent storage facilities for outbound cargo to Angola. The two runways are in excellent condition and fuel facilities are available for smaller aircraft
